Pastiche seminars are presented in two levels of content based on prior learning and knowledge: Foundation and Master Class.  
The Advanced Skin Analysis seminar is considered the foundation seminar as the skills learned here are the foundation of understanding for all subsequent Master Class programs. This is intensive education that will require participants to prior learn many facets of the anatomy and physiology of the skin in order to understand the topics and techniques discussed.

Advanced Skin Analysis (4 days)

The Pastiche Method ® is recognised as the most progressive skin analysis education available worldwide, and was originally developed for beauty therapists and aestheticians so that they may expand on their base training in the knowledge of skin.

Cosmetic Chemistry (2 days)

Continuing on from the Pastiche method of skin analysis, this course goes one step further by linking skin structure and function with product composition.
Seminar attendees explore the linking skin structure and function to ingredient choice for better treatment results and client satisfaction. 
This is facilitated by approaching the major skin conditions therapists see on a daily basis and applying the knowledge of what is happening to the skin’s cells to the types of ingredients that will provide best therapeutic effect.

In addition to learning how to read and understand the labels on cosmetic products, you will learn how to determine the difference between domestic retail and professional skin care product.  
You will also learn how to identify the likely performance of a formulation on specific skin conditions and compare to marketing claims.
During this seminar you will discover what various active ingredients roles are in formulations to give yourself the edge and confidence to compete in today's high tech beauty world.

Perfect your diagnostic and treatment strategy skills!
The Pastiche Master Class is an exciting one-day collaborative learning seminar for graduates of Advanced 
Skin Analysis.
The principle of the seminar is to allow participants to experience “real world” examples of how to use the Pastiche Diagnostic Pathway to identify skin conditions, discover their causes and apply appropriate protocols to prescribe effective treatment regimes.  This is facilitated by introducing participants to common skin conditions with the help of a variety of client consultation notes and case histories. 
During each skin condition examination/discussion the group share their views of how the consultation data provides the diagnostic cues for determining cause.
The physiological examinations are aided by “close-up” video projection of the skin surface on a large screen, with facilitator Florence explaining each visual cue with tips on recognition patterns and techniques.
Each subject condition is fully discussed to address cause and discover practical solutions that will lead to appropriate protocols and treatment prescription.

The seminar can be attended in two ways: As an adjunct to the three-day Advanced Skin Analysis seminar, 
or as a further learning or "refresher" seminar for existing graduates and other experienced professionals.

This six-hour presentation is essential education for the therapist attempting to effectively treat pigmentation problems.
The program explores the various types of pigmentation, the causes and potential solutions. 
Importantly, this seminar discusses myths regarding the treatment of pigmentation and explains why some treatment modalities are less effective than others in specific circumstances. We will understand why desquamation treatment methods such as peeling and micro-dermabrasion will have limited effect on this condition.
We start by working our way through an updated anatomy and physiology of pigmented conditions, examining the various steps in melanogenesis, where the effective intervention points are and the relative chemistry of each along with the most effective treatment options.
